I want to subscribe to your plan today, what should I do?
There are four (4) basic plans - starter, advance, premium and platinum at the services section. Select which plan you are interested in and click on the order now button and follow instructions from then.
What is the mode of payment?
You are able to pay us through maybank2u.com.my, banking into my Maybank or Al Rajhi bank account (account numbers have been provided) or through paypal using your visa, mastercard or amex. Once payment has been made, kindly send confirmation of payment (print screen) or print to pdf with your name, email, domain name to hello@shooweb.net.
Is it secured?
Definitely. PayPal technology offers best of its class encryption and SSL.
How fast does Shooweb.net prepare my account once payment has been made?
Usually it will take up to 24 hours after confirmation of payment to get your account setup and domain properly propogated. If you purchased during during office hours (gst 08:00), then it will take about 2-3 hours after confirmation.
Domain name purchasing will take a little longer. The domain name you purchase will depend on world root internet server around the world but our service time is around 2-3 hours upon confirmation of payment.
Can you be trusted?
It is through my customer's who have used my service that can vouch my service or whether I can be trusted. I have been talked about at forums such as lowyat.net on my service. Bloggers like Berjaya-mazda.com can tell you who he is hosting with and the reliability of Shooweb.net.
Why are you affiliated with Hostgator.com or in other words a reseller of hostgator.com?
I have hosted with many providers before and I have to admit, I have been let down by them. They do not answer my emails for days, no phone numbers, downtime for days, cant retrieve my emails -- which I cant afford. So I decided to become a reseller myself - that's when shooweb.net was born. I chose hostgator.com is because of their reputation. They are currently hosting over a million domains and the web applications we are building works best with hostgator.com but ofcourse they dont come cheap. So I am opening up good hosting at affordable rates.
Do you sell domain names?
Yes if you wish for me to register a domain name for you, then it will cost RM40.00 if you transfer it into my bank account or USD9.95 if you pay through PAYPAL.
Why the difference in pricing when paying for the domain name through PAYPAL and bank transfer?
Additional steps need to be taken - so additional charges.
A lot of hosting are offering cheaper services than yours.
Like I have said we are not the cheapest nor are we expensive (WE ARE AFFORDABLE) but definitely we are reliable - to date 100% uptime - you seldom see this in local hosting sites. You may not realise if your current hosting service is down for a couple of hours but for us and our bloggers who depend so much on their traffic to generate revenue, they can't afford ANY down time. We can't afford any down time either - not even for a second - SERIOUSLY. So paying a little more for a world class service is justifiable especially if you are doing business on the Internet.
How do I get support from Shooweb.net?

Alternatively call me! I will be opening a weblog on web hosting, e-commerce and web technologies soon and it will be a good way to communicate there too. There you'll be able to learn about new web applications such as google apps mail, setting up dns and perhaps network connectivity.
Is hosting a lucarative business? - people have called me and asked me this...
I am not going to lie to you. It is not (it is a dog eat dog world - full of price war and providers out there) but because Shooweb.net does not solely generate funds from web hosting we are not worried if Shooweb.net web hosting makes money or not. As long as it is here to educate users on web hosting, web applications and e-commerce, we feel we have done our part. The founder of Shooweb.net look at Shooweb.net as a platform to run and develop its own applications and support its other core businesses - that is why Shooweb.net will definitely be here to stay in the long long looong term. However we are hoping *praying actually* that some day Shooweb will kick it off on its own - becoming a strong player in the web hosting industry.
Why the environment messages on the title of most of your pages?
With the food crisis, rising fuel prices and climate changes -- everything that is causing it has something to do - directly or indirectly the environment - as a small voice, I can't do much but place it on this website to remind all of us that we should do our part - Here is how I am playing my part :

Yes its just one email address for everything. For PAYPAL, for support, for sales, for enquiries, for everything! I, founder of Shooweb personally reads them every day or when it comes in - everytime. That way you'll get faster response from me every time.
In this business or any business we are running a long distance race, it is not a 100m sprint, its an endurance marathon - We are here to stay for the long term and from time to time we'll see some hosting companies go and some will emerge but we will be here to stay and grow.
